Inspired by yesterdays post, here are five books to which I would tell someone: I hope someone will be around to hold you when you finish.
1. The Bluest Eye, Toni Morrison
2. We All Fall Down, Robert Cormier
3. Living Dead Girl, Elizabeth Scott
4. Forbidden, Tabitha Suzuma
5. Mockingjay, Suzanne Collins
I haven't read any of these except Mockingjay (which I loved!). Definitely a heart-wrencher, though.

Yes. I would also include Poisonwood Bible and Play It As It Lays. Both adult books that wrecked me.
