I would not be able to watch TV with my teenage self

This is what I mean.

When I was a teen I despised it when shows included a set of these:

Now, these might be my favorite characters on Awkward

I also hated anything paranormal, which meant I missed out on:

Now, I can't get enough:

And I had real beef with this one for being too perfect. (All the boys like me, I have a troubled past, I'm an artist, I have a beautiful singing voice - we get it Joey Potter!)

But these days I have no qualms towards these two and I'm pretty sure their entire existence (on the show) is to allude perfection:

Would you watch TV with your teen self?

  1. I think I approach it the other way round. I used to watch more or less everything when I was younger, but not so much now. Things I feel like I've already seen I don't feel the need to see again. And there's a lot of stuff on tv that feels like I've already seen it.

  2. Ummm...unfortunately I didn't get to watch a whole lot of TV as a teen. I would go back and try and find more time for it though.

I completely missed out on Dawson's Creek...

  5. I couldn't really get into Dawson's Creek either. And I loathed when Brenda and Brandon's parents got in the way on early 90210. And, well, you know how hopelessly addicted I am to Vampire Diaries.
Okay, wait, I don't think I answered your question...

  6. I watched a heck of a lot of Friends! So I'm guessing I'm a lot older than you because Dawson's creek was after my time. But I haven't started Vampire Diaries yet. My friends swear I'll get addicted. Right now I love The New Girl.
